Hello!

We are Transverse Cooperative, an artist-owned co-op based in Baltimore, MD that serves movements for collective liberation with art, design, and cultural strategy.

We organize artist-workers towards better living and working conditions through collective action.

Co-founders Camila and Ellie take a selfie in a mirror. There are colorful illustrations overlayed on top of the photo.
Co-founders and worker-owners Ellie and Camila color their commissioned coloring book. Drawings of flowers and sparkles are transposed on top of the image.

Our co-op offers commissions to organizations working in the solidarity economy, towards collective liberation, or who are otherwise aligned with our values. We create:

What our clients say about us

Graphic illustration of a lightbulb with a sun inside and leafy vines coming out of the base. The vines wrap around the words public power. Two hands are cupped and hold it all.

As arts community organizers,

We hold space for other creatives to question the arts, culture, and media industrial complexes, deepen their artistic-organizing practices, and collaborate on building projects that move us to unlearn and uproot the capitalist framework forced upon our artistry.
