"All Power to the Pollinators"

Swamp Rose Co-op

(Summer 2025)

Upholding cooperative principle No.VI, “cooperation amongst cooperatives”, Transverse worked with Swamp Rose Co-op to make a mural in their native nursery space. The muralĀ  celebrates pollinators and plant allies, depicting the intertwining life cycles of the Baltimore checkerspot butterfly (Euphydryas phaeton) and its native host plant, the white turtlehead (Chelona glabra), as well as several other native flora and fauna.

The Swamp Rose team and Transverse Co-op worker-owner Camila smile together in the native plant nursery.
