"EAT: Economics. Art. Transformation" Graduation Certificate
Art.Coop
(Fall 2024)
Transverse created the graduation certificate for the pilot program of “EAT: Economics. Art. Transformation”, an intensive 6-month training in the economics needed to advance a different vision that includes economic security and freedom for the builders of our collective imagination: our artists and culture workers. The design includes portraits of artist and organizer ancestors we call upon as we radically dream to create the art worlds we want: Paul Robeson, Mahmoud al-Madhoun, Lorrain Hansburg, Violeta Parra, José Carlos Mariátegui, Faith Ringold, Rafaat Alareer, and Nina Simone.
EAT was brought forth from the partnership between Economics for Emancipation, Art.coop, and The Collective BAE.
